SP: Tell us about your stickers – characters.
JB: The Lil’ Destroyer is a fun but cheeky little friend who will always be there to tell you how you’re really feeling.
SP: Which of your illustrations is your favorite?
JB: I think this sticker set has been some of my best character work to date. He’s packed with personality and the animation just sells each emotion in so well. It’s been a great challenge to tell a story under 2 seconds.
SP: Tell us about your first illustration.
JB: I don’t remember my first, but I vividly remember drawing a world of Masters of the Universe and Star Wars characters when I was really young. I used my toy collection of each figure for reference which I still do...30 years later.
SP: Tell us about your background and experience.
JB: I have been a motion designer for well over 10 years now working in various platforms including TV commercials, film titles, broadcast and digital. I also have a strong passion for illustration and character design.
SP: What are your plans for the future?
JB: I don’t have any solid plans for the future at this point apart from developing my illustration and character work. Incorporating more of that into my professional animation work will be the way forward for me.
SP: What is your favorite app or game?
JB: I don’t play IOS games so much. In terms of social media, Instagram is definitely up there for sharing work and staying connected with like minded artists from around the world.
